Anti-Trump protesters disrupt activities shouting “No Trump! No KKK! No racist USA”


Donald Trump’s victory against Hillary Clinton at the recently concluded election, has erupted protesters throughout the United States.

Reuter reveals, The demonstrators marching in cities across the United States to protest against  Donald Trump’s surprise win. In New York, thousands of people filled streets in midtown Manhattan as they made their way to Trump Tower, where Trump lives on Fifth Avenue. As protesters Shouts “Not my president!”



The demonstration of about 6,000 people have blocked traffic in Oakland, California, according to the local police. The protesters also threw objects at police who have donned riot gear. Some of the protesters are burning trash in the middle of an intersection, setting off fireworks and smashing store front windows.


IMG_20161110_124642_345Meanwhile in Chicago, about 1,800 people have gathered outside the Trump International Hotel and Tower, shouting: “No Trump! No KKK! No racist USA.”

22-year-old Adriana Rizzo in Chicago who was holding a sign that read: “Enjoy your rights while you can,” says “I’m just really terrified about what is happening in this country.”

Mr Trump will become the 45th US president. He is due to meet current White House incumbent Barack Obama for talks aimed at ensuring a smooth transition.

Mr Obama – who had branded Mr Trump “unfit” for office and campaigned against him – urged all Americans to accept the result of Tuesday’s election.

“We are now all rooting for his success in uniting and leading the country,” he said.

Despite their calls, protesters still gathered in several cities across the country.
