US President Barack Obama has visited the scene of the Bataclan theatre attack in Paris, after arriving in the city for the UN climate change summit. Accompanied by French President François Hollande and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, he laid a single white rose at the venue were 90 people were killed. Mr Obama’s motorcade went straight to the Bataclan shortly after the US President arrived at Orly airport. After placing his rose, Mr Obama stood in silence with his head bowed and his hands clasped in front of him. He then walked away with his arms around Mr Hollande and Ms Hidalgo. The attacks- claimed by the Islamic State group- on 13 November left 130 people dead and more than 360 injured.
