Olamide and Phyno tastes defeat at the Nigerian Entertainment Awards

The Nigerian Entertainment Awards which held in New York on September 6, 2015 was full of surprises most notable among them is the defeat of Olamide and Phyno.

Top Fuji act, Pasuma born Wasiu Alabi Ajibola Odetola emerged as the Indigenous Artist of the Year Award beating Flavour, Olamide and Phyno to it.

Also nominated for the award was Mc Galaxy and Jaywon.

The 48-year-old stepped into the limelight in 1993 with his album ‘Recognition.’ He recently dropped his hip hop album.
