Mogadishu Blasts kill 21


At least 21 people have been reported dead by two separate explosions in Somalia. The first explosion occurred in the capital city of Mogadishu while the second was in a military training base in Kismayu, a port city.

Both explosions occurred on Saturday. It was confirmed by Mohamed Yusuf, the spokesman for the interior security ministry, that the bombs were planted in cars, however, the authorities downplayed the number of casualties involved in the attacks.
