Diamond Platnumz: Singer may‎ not have fathered his baby

Diamond-Platnumz-and-daughter-Tiffah

Barely three weeks after multi talented Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, welcomed his first child ‎with his older wife, and Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan, there is‎ a dark cloud looming.

Rumours are swirling in Tanzania that the adorable Tiffah might not be the singer’s ‎daughter after all.‎ Zari Hassan‎ was formerly married to South-African based billionaire, Ivan Ssemwanga before she left him for the singer. While she was pregnant there were reports that the child was for Ivan and not Diamond Platnumz.

2weeks after the birth, facts are emerging and lending strength and a complicated twist to the gossip. Reports have it that Ivan’s brother King Lawrence is also laying claims to the child.‎

King filed a suit against Zari through Ugandan Law firm, Web Solicitors and Advocates, the suit compels Zari to take her daughter, Tiffah, for three DNA tests so as to verify her a paternity.‎‎

‎”It has come to our client’s attention that you (Zari) have unilaterally decided to offer the paternity of the infant (Tiffah) to one Nasibu Abdul Juma, alias Diamond Platnumz, without considering his (King) strong interests or in fact a real possibility that the child could be his.‎

‎”You have also denied him the slightest access to the child,” reads the letter.

The letter from the lawyers also says: “We therefore write to officially request your cooperation in this matter so that our client’s fears that a child that could actually be his is not nurtured, groomed and raised by another man with a completely different culture. Our client needs to put this to rest, in any event.”

King and his lawyers are demanding the DNA tests be done in Uganda, South Africa and in the USA so that “our client is either confirmed or completely excluded from being the infant’s biological father. King undertakes to meet all associated costs involved in this process.”

‎They conclude the letter by saying that if Zari does not comply with their demands, they will be forced to take legal action against her.
