Emirates Airlines To Launch World’s Longest Flight

Dubai owned Emirates airlines has announced that the company will be launching the longest flight distance covered in one stretch, in 2016.

This was announced by the head of the Airline Ahmad Bin-saeed Al-maktoum who said that a Boeing 777 with the capacity of carrying 266 passengers will be used for the project.

The present world record is from Dallas to Sidney, but this new record will be from Panama to Dubai and is expected to last a span of 13,821km over 17plus hours, about 17km longer than the present world record.
