The newly appointed Chief of Army Staff, Maj. Gen Tukur Buratai has said he will be spending the Eid-el-Fitri with the Nigerian troops in the north.
However, The Major General wasn’t so quick as to divulge his plans for the office. He simply said,
“I don’t have anything to say for now. I am just a few hours on the job. With time we will be talking some more.
“I am going to Damaturu to spend the Sallah with our troops there”, he said.
Buratai replaced Kenneth Minimah after the security chiefs reshuffling by President Buhari.
