Nicky Hilton got married, and all anyone can talk about is her wedding dress.
The wedding dress, which was a £50,000 designer gown — that’s $77,587.50 in U.S. dollars and about N15,517,500 in naira — looked like something fit for a queen with it’s lace veil, high neck line and sumptuous train, unfortunately, with that length, it’s hard to keep it from getting itself hooked on things — in Nicky’s case beneath a Bentley wheel.
Harper’s Bazaar reports, Nicky wasn’t one of those Brides who don’t know their mind and keep changing styles, she knew exactly what she wanted from the designer down to the details of the gown ever since she planned to marry James Rothschild.
“Ever since I was a little girl I wanted Valentino to design my wedding dress. Valentino is the definition of timeless elegance, I don’t think there’s another couture house like it. I went through every look from their collections over the last 10 years. I studied the archives, and I just sent notes about details I liked—a certain sleeve, a high neckline.”
Guests included maid of honor; Paris Hilton, mom; Kathy Richards, aunt; Kyle Richards, as well as her family, in addition to Chelsea Clinton and husband Marc Mezvinsky.
The couple heirs that is Hilton and Rothschild said their ‘I Dos’ at Kensington Palace, and prior to the wedding, Nicky wore several variations of white dresses. Fortunately none of those got stuck under the wheel of a Bentley.
