Inter Milan have beamed their searchlight on a certain Colombian winger. The Nerazzurri’s turned their attention to signing Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado after missing out on his club-mate Mohamed Salah, according to reports in Italy.
Inter had been keen on signing Egyptian winger Salah, but reports reaching Cheznews believe he is close to joining Fiorentina on loan with the Tuscan side having a binding clause obliging them to buy him at a later date.
The San Siro giants have instead switched their sights to Cuadrado, who has disappointed since moving to Stamford Bridge from Fiorentina in January in the deal that first saw Salah move to Florence on loan.
The report claims Inter will make a loan bid for Cuadrado, with a mandatory option to buy him next summer.
Chelsea are said to be open to the proposal, although Inter are also monitoring Napoli’s Dries Mertens in case the deal with Cuadrado falls through.
