Iggy Azalea is testing new waters in her career this year as she lands a not so minor role in Furious 7.
The Australian rapper, who moved to the United States at the age of 16 to tackle the music industry, is moving on to Hollywood, following in the footsteps of her buddy Rita Ora who featured in Furious 6, starring as the London street racer who waved the flag for the race between Letty and Dom.
She admits to being nervous for her acting debut but that didn’t keep her from having fun, Iggy told Access Hollywood, “It makes me very nervous because I don’t want to be one of those artists that exerts themselves and they don’t do a good job, I don’t want to do that, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have an amazing time on set… it’s really fun to play a character.”
She also confided that the role given to her was more active than she expected, “I thought that I was just going to have to wave the flag and then I came (to set) and I got a car and I got some lines and then (my character is) friends with Vin,’ she revealed.”
This just upped my anticipation for this movie, 3 days seems too long a wait to hit the cinema.
